i had to upgrade severly the HDD in the old 486 system i have laying around. the only things i had to spare were MicroSDs (i dont have an adapter) a IDE-Laptop Drive (20GB and again no Adapter) and a 20GB Desktop form factor full size HDD.

being a Seagate HDD i decided WTF not use thier DDO this system would not perform well under 9x so being stuck to fat16 was not an issue. Seagate's DDO puts any additiona partitions in an Extended partition and then into Logical Disks. Problem seems, some utilities doesnt play nice and can recognize this as a Nod-Dos partitions (considering you need to load thier FS Driver otherwise those partitions are inaccessable) from what i've seen this doesnt always work.

Aztech's Sound Galaxy Basic/Pro 16 Driver installer Breaks horribly
(screen artifacts w/ large white striped bars but responsive to Keyboard input. if you make it into the view readme you see something to akin to tryiong to read text files on a VirtualBoy 🤣
if you try to blind your way into driver installation, System locks up.

so atleast Segate's DDO Breaks it. anyone with one of thier ISA Soundcards know if something like EZ-Drive DDO affects it the same way?
