No worries. An expansion card PCB sits on opposite sides of the bracket for ISA vs PCI. That is why you have a slot spacing discrepancy. It also allows for there to be a shared PCI/ISA slot on the motherboard.

I've done this too with a cheap rosewill brand case I picked up from newegg. Board with ISA + PCI fits no problem, you just scratch your head the first time you notice that the PCI cards are upside down 😜
