Having an issue, hoping for some help...
Have a 100 GB Maxtor HDD installed in a P4 1.8 system with an ASUS Motherboard. Previously the system had Windows XP on it using all 100 GB. I want to run Windows 98 SE on it, but want to use the full HDD capacity.
I tried to use SeaTools to tell the Drive to run at a full capacity by entering the sectors in manually and then rebooting to FDISK to setup the Drive / Partitions.
FDisk is only seeing 30 GB of the drive when I check it after creating the partition. I know with FDISK, even when you have a larger HDD and use SeaTools, it will only report 65 GB but all will be used (up to 128).
Not sure why this is seeing 30 GB only....want to use all 100 for the Windows 98 install...what am I doing wrong?
