I'm building a system and I want to use multiplier, cache and throttle tricks to get it to play DOS games at the right speed where too fast causes them to bug out. I don't know of such a list so if you know where I can find one that would be great but I'm basically looking for games that run fine on a 8086, but a 286 is too fast, games where a 386 is too fast and games that are...you get the idea. I want to try each generation; 8086/8088, 286, 386, 486, Pentium and Pentium II. I don't think there is anything higher than that...?
P.S. Are there any Windows games where a CPU might be too fast?
Thanks!
