The config? Where did you change the config to 500mb of memory?

Have you tried running "loadhigh" before playing the game?

i changed dosbox.conf to
[dosbox]
# language -- Select another language file.
# memsize -- Amount of memory dosbox has in megabytes.
# machine -- The type of machine tries to emulate:hercules,cga,tandy,vga.
# captures -- Directory where things like wave,midi,screenshot get captured.

By the way i changed the mem to 100 not 500

Try the loadfix command, it works well.

i type it in and it says 64kb allocated and i need more

It is. Dunno where these people get the idea of putting higher numbers in there. Should probably mention the max in dosbox.conf

#memsize= Min=x Max=x

well dosbox turns it into something sensible regardless what the user sets 😀
