I need some help to identify this card.
I know that the large chip is a 128k flash ROM chip but, I'm not entirely sure what the purpose of this particular card is.

Possibly a form of BIOS backup device, used in case a virus wiped or corrupted the BIOS on the motherboard this could take over or restore the BIOS to a functional state by rewriting it with a good version. Just going by the BIOS address jumpers.

Another possibility is a hardware AV device (flash memory to store update AV signatures by 128K seems too small for that though). I recall they were a thing for a short period of time.
