So I dug this programmer out ..and tried it ..
I powers up ok but I have no software so basically it is just a doorstop atm ..
Perhaps someone recognises it ..or perhaps had/has a similar unit ..
It is a throw back to early PC ..DOS even ?
It is connected via LPT to the PC ...and uses its own psu.
The Name on it is Micromaster 1000 ...made by what was a UK company ICE Technology ..
Can anyone help me here ?
It would be such a useful item to have working again ..

Here is the wayback machine for the old download page.
However, the ftp it goes to is not archived.
The ftp site is still active though so maybe, just maybe they still have the old software on there. It looks like there isn't public access anymore though so I couldn't look.

It does indeed look like this programmer was intended for DOS use ..
but ..at least I have somthing to try..
looks like the 1000+ version runs under windows..the plus being the key.
If anyone knows otherwise ..please comment here..
