First of all, which heroes game is it? The first one?

To start you out you'll need to install the game (it can be done in windows or dosbox) in dosbox you need to mount your harddrive first:

mount c: c:\

Then mount your cdrom drive (replace D: with the letter of your drive)

mount d: d:\ -t cdrom

Now that you have the drives mounted go to the cdrom drive -

d:
dir/w

Look for anything named "Install.exe" or "Setup.exe" and install the game. Once you've done that you can enter the game's directory and run it.

c:
cd\mygame
mygame

when i do that for some reason when i do the Setup part it say

this program cannot be run in DOS mode

any Advice?

o yea forgot to mentien when i try to install the game out of DOSbox it says:

16 Bit windows Subsysytem

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT . The system fire is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

Close OR Ignore

You are trying to run a Win32 application. DOSBox just runs ms-dos apps. I am guessing you are trying to run the game using DOSBox because you talked about mounting drives.

did like that post said and the Setup actually Starts now

only problem is it says "Requires Windows 95"

i tried changing the Compatability on the properties of the Setup but still got the same msg, i have windows XP what do i do?

anyone at all?
