My game space doesn't fit my screen anymore....what gives?

My screen now goes only to widescreen and the menu bar is sometimes there, leaving black bars on the bottom and top. I have tried fullscreen, fullfixed and aspect correction in all the ways possible but it doesn't seem to have an effect. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it does the same thing. It's like it's broken or in my registry or something. If anyone can help i would appreciate it

What is your resolution set to? Try 640x480 and then play with the apsect ratio, full fixed, scaling and etc to see it helps.

I tried all that and to no avail. If i set it one 320x240, i only see a little magnification of the screen

Is hwscale set to anything higher than 1.0?

Unfortunately, no, the hwscale is regular 1.00

I tried installing guizikavs and moe's version with still no results.

it's unusual, maybe my opengl or sdl is in a directory and linked to it now. I don't know

I think you mean Gulikoza's build....

Ykhwong is also doing some nice DOSBox builds (CVS versions).

Other than that, try switching among the various output=xxxx rendering types.
