Oh yeah, each Voodoo5 alone could be worth three times that. Nice one.

Well I received the box, and this pile of "crap" was really worth !! 🤣

Two Voodoo 5
A Voodoo Banshee
A radeon 9500
A radeon 9200se (with the nice gold MSI heatsink)
Several ATI Rage, geforce 2MX cards
A Matrox card with a daughterboard attached to it
A Sound blaster Live
A Guillemot sound card with ram expansion
A Korg daughterboard for sound card
A PCI riser (plugs into 1 pci slot to give 2 pci slot... does this works as standard or needs a specific mobo?)
Several PCI/USB/Firewire cards
A PCI card with 4 serial ports
A PCI card that seems specific for some industrial purpose, i don't know what it does
Some OEM sound cards, noname sloket and maybe some things im missing

All the stuff is covered with nasty dust, some of it seems shiny/metallic. I'll have to do a very deep cleaning job before I can check they're working properly.

Holy crap... that's quite a haul. Please post pics when you're all done cleaning them up. Voodoo 5 cards and sound cards with wavetable daughterboards are the kind of gold nuggets that keep us all digging through people's scrap piles... and you found several in one load. 🤣

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

I couldn't resist to clean up some of them to see if they were in good shape

I cleaned the worst Voodoo (really FULL of DIRT) and left the other for tomorrow. I noticed a scratch on the PCB but hopefully on a large unused ground area

Wow - sometimes what you see in the pics is the best of what you get - but here it was only the tip of the iceberg. Nice stuff!

The card with the CPU socket can be used to upgrade slot 1 boards to socket 370. Assuming you can get it to work, my luck has been limited

Only one of the two Voodoo5's is fully working, the other manage to display the BIOS screen with some garbage on the screen and fails to boot Windows (resolution is changed then stuck with a hourglass cursor on a black screen). I've discovered 3 small CMS capacitors are missing on the back of the card, underneath one of the two main chips. Could this be the reason for the buggy display ? Artifacts are related to vram problems most of time (bad chips or bad solders), but wondering if missing capacitors could create a similar effect.

Missing SMD components can cause VRAM (or in this case SDRAM) chips to misbehave, so yes, it's entirely plausible.
