Hey guys, I recently plugged my SC-55 back in and I got a blank screen of some sort with black boxes. Can someone help me? I really need to fix this.

Open it and reseat all chips. Also check the cables. Seems like the firmware doesn't come up, which may also be due to a broken EPROM chip.

Make sure the adapter is correct also, that could be too much power/not enough (also check polarity). I think I have had that exact scenario pop up before.

Also, consider checking the battery, which there is a long dedicated thread on this forum about.
