Change your shortcut to point to SIERRAW.EXE, not SIERRAWS.EXE

I'm the same person who wrote the earlier negative report. It works fine, you just need to make sure you use the command line switches created in the shortcut when the program is installed. You'll need to use the sierraw.exe executable copied from the cd into your kq7 folder rather than the sierraws.exe executable that is installed by default. Also, run in 256 color compatibility mode. If you want the game to run full screen, use run it from a batch file using Multires (free from www.entechtaiwan.com). Here's the batch file I use:

start /w F:SIERRAKQ7SIERRAW.EXE F:SIERRAKQ7RESOURCE.WIN
c:
C:Progra~1MultiResmultires.exe /restore

where my cdrom drive is j:, multires in installed on c: i the "Program FileMultires" folder, and the game is in the f:sierakq7 folder. If you use the batch file, do not use use XP's own 256 color setting on the compatibility tab.

Unfortunately, my situation seems to be more complicated than that. Upon running the copied SIERRAW.EXE file into the appropriate directory and running it, it tells me "Windows title not found", regardless of color settings, then closes the program.
