It is. I was hoping it would've involved the faulty chemical formula which caused them to fail early.
And where does the fine money go to? Certainly not to consumers.
That is what I hate about these fines. The people that actually were "hurt" by this never see a single (whatever the smallest denomination of the country's currency) from it.
It's not like the bureaucrats stuff it into their own pockets.
The money goes into the EU budget, reducing the amount member states pay in.

I'd bet anything that was part of the same shady shenanigans. If they're already price fixing, they're all gonna be cheaping out their product to match each other too.
Not nearly a big enough fine IMHO. Companies need to be faced with bankruptcy when they pull this shit.
