Can anyone tell me what model/line this case was used for? It's in pretty miserable condition but I can get it for free. I was on the look for a desktop style beige case, so why not? Not sure if it's AT or ATX or even useful to me. Seems to lack the front bay covers, not sure if they are easily replacable..

Yep this a PIII era case. Maybe it was used for late PIIs as well, I don't know, but definitely for Deskpro PIIIs. You're right about the covers, they're missing.
Your photo doesn't help AT ALL, it looks really beaten-up though. Which makes me doubt the PSU as well. It's nothing special in any case, I'd just skip.

I have a case that looks similar to that. It originally had a MicroATX PIII board in it, and a small power supply rated for only 130W or something (I believe it is FlexATX size).
