Looking for an old TG16 emulator that ran in Dos and had dripping blood on the menu. Any ideas?
Thanks

The only emulators with blood in menu were Nesticle and Genecyst (NES y Genesis/Megadrive). The blood was the "trademark" of bloodlust. Are you sure that you saw a TG16 emulator with blood?
I have traveled across the universe and through the years to find Her.
Sometimes going all the way is just a start...
Bloodlust sure did make nice stuff back then - even their games were nice ( but you had to have a specific type of humor 😀 ) their emulators were really ground breaking back then.
Genecyst had the bloody menu, Nesticle and Callus were boring blue and green respectively IIRC
Thanks guys, guess I was wrong. Must have been Genesis. In the 90s I played both frequently. Always thought that was TG16. Is there a good resource for DOS based emulators? Looking around google I didn't have much luck, just modern stuff.
Thanks
Only old emulator for TG-16 and PCE stuff I remember that I think ran in DOS as well as windows was Magic Engine. It wasn't free even back then though. Not sure if you can find it now. But I remember it being very good and even had the ability to play SuperCD games as well for the TG-16/PCE. It used the Anime girl in a bunny suit as the mascot for the emulator.
MagicEngine is still alive and can be bought here: http://magicengine.com
I registered it ages ago with cash in an envelope, must have been ~2000 or so 😁
I see they have versions for Windows. I'd specifically had one for DOS.

I was pretty sure I played around with 1 or 2 TurboGrafX emulators in DOS when I was younger. Hu-Go! has a DOS version but it 15 years old now
tip: to help expand your searches, try using terms like PCE or PC-Engine, etc.
