Only one can stay

I need to clean my room because junior is here. My wife ultimatum is that only one PC can be in house 😠 😊
My plan is to build multy purpose pc for old games most for win98.

parts awalible are:

MBO ASUS p3bf, ASUS p3C-S, Abit ST6.
CPU is from 233 slot 1 to P3S 1.26Ghz
VGA i have Voodoo 1,2(SLI),3,4, Ti4200, GF6800LE
Sound SB live, awe 64

My idea is to use p3C-s because of RD ram (cool), isa slot and scsi (if i need for something)

for vga, i need glide but image on V2 is so-so
(curent setup vas ti4200 on dvi + V2 on vga)

what is your opinion for build.

I play (nfs 2,3,4 sportcar GT, unreal turnament, screamer 2, rally, theme hospital....)

I speak sarcasm as a 2nd language

Abit ST6 would be my pick board wise.

Ugh...wives making ultimatums...its understandable if there's little space, but most of the times you can have 2 PC's sharing a monitor, keyboard and mouse without taking a lot of additional space or being really intrusive.

Sounds like you already decide on the motherboard. If using the P3C-S gives you more joy then go with it.
Fastest CPU possible.
Both sound cards.

Sports Car GT seems to be the most demanding game D3D game in that list, but would think the V4 would run it ok?
Rest of the games are Dos or glide which are more then happy with the V4

Hold on to the parts for a year or so. If you dont miss it after a year good chance you wont regret selling it, tooooo much 😉
