Hello everyone, I have found a Thinkpad 570 with original charger in perfect shape for 30 USD however screen flaps and isnt able to stand by itself.How can I make them stay?

Any help is highly appriciated.

XP machine: Phenom II X4 965, 4890 Crossfire
Main: TUF Dash F15, I7 11.gen, RTX 3060 6GB

I haver one of those, nice thin machine good for W98 if you can stand the absolutely horrible video chip. I don't have the hinge problem, but I imagine that you can either prop it up somehow or insert some shims into the hinges to increase friction and let it stay up by itself.

Does yours have the ultrabase too? Without that you won't have CDROM, ports etc.
