This isn't my picture or my card, so I can't get any more information about it. I saw it listed somewhere and for some reason I have been trying to identify it...

It looks like a Geforce 256 (DDR) to me, but the layout of components doesn't match any that I see online. They all have slightly different layouts, but there are certain features that are the same on most of them. The straight line of three SMD tantalum caps in this one doesn't look like any Geforce 256 I've seen.

It also could be a TNT 2 Pro or Ultra, but it doesn't look exactly like any of those either.

It could be a lower end later card, but the tantalum caps and SGRAM were more common on older (pre 2001) high end cards.

This doesn't matter much, I'm just curious. :p

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

I'd say it might be a GeForce2 MX, but, I could be wrong. I cannot see any markings.

I don't think tantalum caps and SGRAM were normally used on MX models though. I'm not sure that SDR SGRAM was used beyond the Voodoo 3 days either. DDR SGRAM from Infineon, Samsung and maybe some others was common on Geforce 256, 2 and sometimes 4MX cards.

Its hard to tell, but it looks like these are probably Samsung SGRAM chips.
