Hi, I saw this Alienware computer for sale on Craigslist.

There are no specs listed in the description. I messaged the seller asking for the specs and he says that he does not know.

I asked him for a model number or serial number and he has not responded.

From what I can tell, it appears to be an early Alienware Aurora.

I am guessing it is probably from the 2006-2008 era.

Does anyone know what the specs may be? I'm guessing it probably has a Core 2 CPU and likely 2-4 gb of RAM.

Also, what do you think is a good price? I'm pretty sure he is asking too much... Thanks.

What's the price he's asking? I wouldn't take it for more than $50

Looks to be an Area 51 7500. I have one, but this one seems to have a much more basic motherboard than what mine (and others I've seen) have. It is a standard ATX motherboard, though, so it could have been upgraded. What is he asking for it?

He's asking $220, which is way too high. I don't know how he thinks he can sell it for that much and not even be able to give anyone the specs. I would like to have it in my collection, but not for more than about $50, as you said above. Thanks.

local sellers are deranged

there are plenty of people trying to sell 10+ year old imacs and macbooks for $500+
