In the 90s I used to give my old PCs to the local school. They probably wouldn't have sold for much anyway.

If you need the space or cash, sure. Depending what you have it may be worth more to part them out though.
Just be careful you don't regret it few years down the track like so many of us have. I'd hang on to anything with sentimental value few more years just in case.

I would get rid of them if I really didn't have space, other than that, at least for me the chance of regretting is high later on, and these parts are only getting rarer, so they are mostly for now going up in value...
What about books and magazines? Do you people collect them as well?
I collect old Herbert Schildt books, just for nostalgia reasons. In the pre-internet era his books were constant companions. Then I threw them all out...

Do you feel regret after you throw them out? I wonder why does that regret feeling always come when you throw something out?
As some of you know I buy + fix up + sell most of my retro boxes... just sold my GXa actually.
