Does anyone out there know if there is any freeware or shareware outthere that emulates windows 95 games like dosbox does? Thanks.

As far as GDI/DDraw then Bochs/Qemu/VPC/Vmware will be fine.

Vmware 5 incorporates some D3D8 support but it's pitiful compared to Cedega/Wine, in other words it's not worth using.

The closest "emulator" which it isn't really for old Direct3D games is Wine/Cedega, there is no emulation for D3D but seeing as how most Win95 games were GDI/DDraw then you should be alright with the above emulation programs that I mentioned. Most should work fine in Windows XP anyway with a few exceptions.
