I have an old Gateway P5-75 with CT2260 Vibra16 ISA card which had windows 95 installed and it used internal speaker for sound output.
I kind of liked it and was not sure how exactly the sound was making its way to the PC speaker. The PC speaker wasn't connected to the sound card, but to the motherboard as normally.
However when I wiped the disk and reinstalled windows it no longer outputs the sound via internal PC speaker.
How can I fix this?
I have a backup of original HDD which I can restore but not sure where exactly to look

Maybe the Gateway had an on-board sound card and sound got routed to the speaker internally via the usual speaker connection?
