Regarding the chips on the Roland SCC-1,
* What do each of the chips do?
* Is its DAC featured in the photo?
* What bit is the DAC?
Thanks a lot for any comments!

Well the Toshiba TC518 is SRAM, The Hitachi HM62256 is also SRAM. I believe the Roland MB* chips are ROMS. The R15199778 is a Hitachi H8 micro. I believe the dac is a NEC D6376 on these boards. The D6376 is a 2 channel 16bit dac.

Thanks! BTW, do you happen to know what the largest chip on this card does? It's not pictured in the photo. It's just off to the right hand side. Typically, I think, it has a 3 alphanumeric code written on it. Also, regarding this big chip, do you know why this code written on this chip differs from card to card? Thanks! 😀
