UPDATE
A friend brought his old shitty computer over to get rid of it. Upon opening it, I found the following internal components
CPU: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5400 @2.7GHz
Motherboard: ASUS P5G41-m LE Micro-ATX LGA775
RAM: 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2-667
HDD: Maxtor 80GB PATA IDE
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce 9500GT DDR2 PCIe
PSU: Just PC JPC-450DF-12V 450-watt
Wait WHAT?! Freaking 40-AMPS for the 5V rail? Time to revisit my old Athlon XP system!
Connected the Athlon XP system from this thread up to this new PSU and stuck the x700 in there again.... and nothing. STILL won't POST. I think it's official - it's because of the lack of AGP 8x. Now we know.

Hey, get an Abit NF7, that one having a Nvidia chipset is more reliable than most other SIS/VIA ones :3 also it has AGP 3.0 so maybe your x700 will work on it owo
Da specs: http://abit.ws/page/en/motherboard/motherboar … fMTYPE=Socket+A
And don't get so enthusiastic about the specs of a PSU, sometimes they tend to lie in the volts or amps, also I recommend holding up with your hand rather (than opening it up) just to see how is constructed, also I saw the PSU's you used and that AGI one is from a reputable manufacturer, Hipro (They use the same slogan and the HP for the model number)
Good luck!! :3
