This may be an easy fix so I thought I would ask the community here. The Pentium Pro haul had tons of these ALR dual fan Socket 8 coolers. I would like to modify or adapt some of them for a standard PPro PC. Does it look like an easy mod and what would be the easiest approach? They are fairly quiet server grade coolers and built like a tank. Thanks.

You could shift the cable order on the ALR 4-pin mb headers from RxYB to BRYx and use something like these

or their 3-pin mb header equivalents if you don't want to use molex

The connector on the fans looks to be pretty much the same as a CPU 4pin (P4) on more modern power supplies, just with a different pinout.
What you could do, is to crimp molex connector on the end of a P4 extension cable, like this one.

While what PC Hoarder Patrol said is most likely the easiest solution, using two adapters seems to be a bit unnecessary for me. But it would most definitely work.
