I remember this card being fairly popular in the early 2000s, is it a desirable card to have? I used to own a Terratec DMX XFire 1024 around those times, that is a CS4624 card. Apparently the Santa Cruz is a CS4630, whichis apparently an upgrade to that? I believe it uses a Crystal chipset, how good is its SB compatibility and FM? A comparison with the DMX XFire 1024 would be nice.

Here is the datasheet for CS4630:

It mentions SBPro/FM/MPU401 DOS compatibility, so if it is the same as the CS4624, I imagine it will work sort of like described here:
