Try a clean install again. Sometimes it can go wrong for some odd reason. As it is an 2760, you will have to go through the jumpers first, before the reinstall of drivers.

Once the card is set to the correct IRQ, DMA and IO's, then take a quick look in your bios. Disable anything COM/LPT that you are not using, and finally do the reinstallation of software. Another good thing to try out, is to see if disabling or enabling PNP-OS in the BIOS will give any result.

I hope you can get it working. Sometimes the 2760 will die. Mine did when I played full throttle back in 2015. The machine crashed due to some software error and when I turned it on, the card was dead. My symptoms was that it was unable to find the 16-Bit DMA.
