Hi all, I have a 386 system running well but if I play something like Day of the Tentacle Dos CD talkie version the CPU gets hot up to a point that it might be why I see lines going up and down the screen that are visible but not completely black lines, I have tried other video cards and it goes away but with one card that works well the lines are there even in the Bios but I let it cool and the lines were not there so im guessing its the CPU getting to hot, If I put some double sided tape I got with my Raspberry Pie and put a heat sink from a socket 5 or 7 on the 386 should this be ok? Or could the Bios settings be the culprit from the wait states or something as I dont know the Bios very well, its just a standard 386 Bios with loaded defaults and video cache enabled for some of the options.
