Yes, that's what I need. Internal USB headers would also be nice but are not essential.

Don't take the "supported MB list" seriously, it just works fine in other MBs (I'm using it on a P5Q Premium).

One thing, like most other SATA6 controllers of the similar chipset, it is HDD only, does not support optical drives.

That looks good too. Though why does the other card have a Berg power connector but this one doesn't?

The power connection is for USB ports, and for high amphere usage. With the Asus, you will probably not be able to speed charge your phone.

Syba is a good enough brand though (although I get the Asus over Syba anyday) but I would say to stay away from no-name ones from Aliexpress (been there, done that)
