Hello,

I just recently received an MPU-401 and card. The only thing I did not get with the setup is the cable which connects the processing unit to the card. Can I use an LPT cable to connect the two or is there a proprietary cable that is needed? Thank you.

I use a 1:1 cable without any issues.

Thanks for the response. I was worried to try anything before asking others first. There’s not many mpu’s out there anymore and I didn’t want to damage anything.

That was a perfectly valid question. MIF-IPC boards provide +5V, so any incorrect cabling may fry the MPU.
