Hello. Do you have some information abut this card?
Hello. Do you have some information abut this card?
Interesting beast!
It's a Hercules card, and if that's an Intel 82706 (can't make it out on the picture), VGA. The right-hand side of the card is pretty standard, the left less so. That 50p connector at the top looks SCSI-ish, but the socketed chip is a TMS34010 i.e. TIGA, which would suggest SVGA accelerator. And apparently it takes 30p SIMMs.
There was supposedly Hercules TIGA cards called "Graphics Station" and "Chrome", so I guess this could be one of those.
WinXP : PIII 1.4GHz, 512MB RAM, 73GB SCSI HDD, Matrox Parhelia, SB Audigy 2.
Win98se : K6-3+ 500MHz, 256MB RAM, 80GB HDD, Matrox Millennium G400 MAX, Voodoo 2, SW1000XG.
DOS6.22 : Intel DX4, 64MB RAM, 1.6GB HDD, Diamond Stealth64 DRAM, GUS 1MB, SB16.
It's a VGA / TIGA Hercules Graphics Station Card https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=LIpQYrLA2 … station&f=false
There were a few cards in the range - the 1024, 1024 Gold and the SuperStation 3D (TMS34020-based)
Used to own one - wish I could find another 😢
I think its a perfect choice for my TI chipset motherboard
Wow, a card with DIPP, SIPP and SIMM memory...
And I'm apparently not familiar enough with TI boards... what is the other socketed Intel chip?
its a Intel A82385-33 IV, Memory Support Circuit - 32-Bit Cache Controller
Does anyone have windows / os2 drivers for this TIGA Hercules adapter?
