I just finished my breakfast which invariably consists of 3 slices of Vegimite toast and coffee (white 1 sugar). The breakfast of champions.

Last night, we had oven roasted chicken with baked potatoes. I hate baked potatoes, as they are dry. I had to attend to her 3 months old son, because I wanted the mother to eat, then I only had two tiny mouthfull of chicken. And then, finally, the cat stole my food. I was too tired to feel any hunger anyway.

I did start a tread, back in 2015. Yet that was about recepies.

exactly. the potato is just a substrate that provides a platform for the bacon and other stuff.

That is roasted potatoes. I am talking about baked. Wrapped in tin foil, and baked in the oven at 200 degree celcius. You can do it on a bond fire as well. Never liked it.

Speaking of bacon. Today's dinner....
Roasted bacon cubes, and egg's poured over in order to make scrambled egg's with bacon "build in", and then baked beans on the side. Bacon were roasted with Black pepper, and there are tons of black pepper in the egg's as well. Spicy, and burning....

Ah yes I see and you're right. When we were kids we'd throw them into the coals of our bonfire and while they were a fun novelty (because of the fire 😈) I don't think I ever ate the whole thing.

Butter helps there of course. Butter makes everything better.

That reminds me of my scouting days. One thing we were taught was how to make an oven out of an old metal biscuit tin and mud/clay. We actually roasted a chicken that way and ate it with boiled potatoes.

Is this too much voodoo?

I'm into my 3rd week with OMAD (weekends are a mixed bag though - family time). Eating only dinner and drinking only water/mineral water through the day. Feeling pretty fine. Not much cravings for food or feeling hungry or any less energy. Lost some weight (2-3kg). Trying to eat more healthy foods and do some moderate exercise. Will go on for 3-4 weeks and then re-evaluate.

Requests are also possible... /msg kixs

Yeah... Bon fire food are also a great part of my choldhood. We used to make dough for bread, then rolling them out into sausage shape, and twisting it around a stick that were cut from a tree. You know, a branch from a haselnut tree. We just had to remove the bark were the dough had to be mounted. And then turning it slowly over the embers. We called it something like twisted bread. Roughly translated. Sometimes with a sausage inside, so it became a whole meal.

Ember/bonfire food are awesomme.
