When I play monkey island in DOS or starting from win98 all the music is just glitched out noise.
I am running on a Toshiba Libretto 100ct and have tried both toshiba drivers and yamaha.
I've tried both VGA and EGA versions and they do the same thing.
I tried switching IRQ settings.
All other games sound works great, Monkey island 2 sound works great.
I've tried the lucasarts patch found on this site since it's not on the disney one anymore.
I know it worked fine on the libretto 70ct at least with windows 3.1 dos drivers. I triple checked the audio config in the autoexec.
I'm stumped. Anyone else ever run into this? Maybe a known issue with the YMF7xx win 9x/dos?
