1st my current sys is a Dell Inspiron 15-3541 laptop, OS win10 Home 64bit. I had to upgrade the OS from Win 7 Home 32bit because a new game "Postal Redux" need the 64bit to run.
Anyways I would like to share the bat file setup that I made bellow. It took me almost a year to get the bugs out of the 1st bat file. I have been using this Bat file setup for a long time to get the old MS-DOS games to play on Windows using DosBox. This setup will run on any Windows OS. I think there is other ways to config the bat file. But this works for me. The DosBox prog sits in a dir of "C:\dosbox and the games sit in the dir of C:\games\dgames. Each Bat file is uniquely tailored to each Dos game. Each Dos game is in it's own dir under the "dgames" dir. In order for these bat files to work Dosbox and the games have to be in the right Dir's or the bat files just won't work. I am posting "Wolf3d's" bat file so you can see what I have done.
c:\dosbox\dosbox.exe -c "cycles auto" -c "mount c c:\games" -c "c:" -c "cd dgames" -c "cd wolf3d" -c "wolf3d.exe -goobers"
If any 1 item in the string is out of place then the bat file doesn't work.
