Got an Intel Celeron SL5WX 850MHz Socket370 for free. Now I can upgrade from Celeron 766 SL4P6. It was free with some socket 7, socket 370 and gaphics coolers.

Finally traced down my last missing Pentium II CPU model - Pentium II 266 Mhz/66 with Deschutes core for my wall display project. These are apparently much less common than Klamath ones.

Now I got 233, 266, 300 MHz Klamath and 266, 300, 333, 350, 400 and 450 MHz Detschutes

Both from Poland:

a working 1541 drive, and a P75 (that I will upgrade to a 133 or 150 and stick on eBay).

There's some room left in my luggage, I might pick up another 386 😉

The Faceballs marketplace delivered today, paid a paltry sum for this bastard. Asus GF2 GTS. This was the one I wanted when I was making my first proper gfx card purchase. But being a penniless young 'un I had to settle for the GF2MX.

It's a complete kit apart from the Ulead VIdeoStudio CD. The glasses haven't even been taken out of the plastic yet, thumbsup.png

A handsome chap! I'm pretty pleased with myself, and it was definitely worth the drive to the end of the suburbs to go collect it.

I remember the Intel's bunny people ad campaign from the 90s... it looked so silly/idiotic to me back then... and it looks even more silly/idiotic now...

A bunch of stuffs for cheap..

The board will eventually end up getting paired with a Cyrix mII 233 75MHz FSB and Voodoo 1.

My first thought when seeing the CPU was "Oh nice, an MMX overdrive!" but googling the clode SL23W reveals it's actually not an overdrive MMX. I didn't know regular MMX CPUs could come with heatsinks attached, strange.

Cool find, I have one of those that I bought also boxed & complete specifically to try out the 3D glasses (and the NVision 3D software that can make "any" DirectX game work in 3D with them.) Great card... but because I don't have a CRT set up anymore, I've never tried the 3D glasses. 😜 Need to get on that sometime.

Got this XT a few days ago. Fully upgraded with ram/clock card, full length EGA card, harddisk with controller card and extra IO. Also came with an Model F keyboard and the IBM binders. The guy also had two of the binders for my AT and an windows 2.0 users guide. Its missing the original floppies (AT and XT) so if anyone have them and can part with them please contact me ^^

Starting to have quite an 80's IBM collection: 5154, 5155, 5160, 5170, 8513, 8550z, 8580. The last one is a bit of a project yet but all others are in good to very good shape 😀

The 1996 Nokia 447Xi 17" 92kHz Trinitron monitor arrived in perfect state.
The overall design is just nice.
I particularly like its conventional control panel.

The inside is very nice, too.

I was unable to spot any parts that didn't come from top brands.
The HOT is bigger than in Chinese 19" monitors.
And, above all, there is barely any dust/dirt inside.

I am very satisfied with that monitor for my 486.

And finally I found a Winbond ISA IDE/IO card that is not low profile board.
(These suck because they don't leave space for cables when mounted behind another low profile card...)
Now I can free up one slot 😀

I tried out another S3 card, too.
1991 Mylex GLI911, made in USA.
It turned out to be by far my slowest ISA VGA 😀
Very good in case I need a not-too-fast VGA card!

This week the next (and hopefully final) S3 graphics card for my 486 will arrive.
ISA V7 Mercury with 86C928... seems to be quite rare. I really hope it will be faster than the last one...

I got a Gigabyte GA-MV800pmc for my celeron 420 Conroe-L.
I gonna use it for a similiar project of Phills but with agp card and dualboot with xp for simple games
