Hi. Completely new to this and am a real novice so please bare with me. My mount when I type dir shows the game but when I type the game file, it says illegal command. What am I doing wrong?

You have a lot to learn about how to use DOS and DOSBOX, but you will probably will not find your support here, because this forum is for the free original DOSBOX, not commercial derivatives like DosBox Turbo. You will be advised to seek technical support from the person who you bought DosBox Turbo from.

DOS doesn't execute CON files. They execute .COM and .EXE
