Yeah, I have the mini tower version.
It’s okay.
Better than most cheap sheet metal cases.
It’s better designed and engineered but still cheap.
Sharp edges, bends really easy, thin sheet metal, very light, comes with cheap PSU,
It’s not tool-less but they did try to make it easy to repair and install components.
It’s not a Lian Li or Cooler Master Wave Aluminum case but a cheap tin box.
These must have sold for about $35 back in the early 1990's.

I like this one ( ATX # Top 702 ) , I use to have this case with a P-3 CPU.

Heavier and thicker gauge steal construction.

These are three examples of towers from 1994/1995 magazine if i recall correct.

Hi, today i disasemble the front of the case to clean and realize the maker is "Codegen Technology co"

But in a small numbers next to the name is writen "89"... Maybe is not from 92 like say in first page... or is just a number, i dont know

I see I have the "super tower" version of the one 1992 tower on the first page (it's a 386DX-33 machine branded "Insight" with a BIOS date of 1991) here but I have no idea about the one to the right of it, it's a 486DX2-66 VLB system that I can only assume was manufactured in 1993/94. Never seen its distinctive case anywhere else, it's also branded Insight but as far as I'm aware Insight used all commodity parts and did not have their own unique cases.

I have a very similar case to the case in the center. I was lucky to be able to get my one a New Old Stock last year. The front panel of mine is slightly different but certainly the same vibe.

Reminds me of my first PC from 1993, a 486DX33, in a very similar tower case with a near identical front door.

This baby-AT case I have seen in two versions, this (2 5,25", 2+1 3,5" sections) and larger [1, 2] (3 5,25", 3+1 3,5" sections). I have in my collection two small such cases and one larger. All of them are bundled with identical 200W Linkworld OEM PSUs (very poorly made).

Had one in early 1996 with 120MHz AMD DX4 on a Zida 4DPS inside. Same one was owned by my friend with 133MHz AMD 5x86 on a LuckyStar in late 1996. But unfortunately no one knows neither model name nor manufacturer.

Any ideas about this case?

I had it, or nearly exactly it, from probably about 1998 to 2002. I think it came with Windows 95 but we immediately upgraded it to Windows 98, probably 166mhz, I remember using a serial mouse and AT keyboard, drilling out part of the case to be able to plug in a PS2 mouse, and being super excited when I bought a PCI USB card so I could plug in my brand new crappy MP3 player. (The iPod came out shortly thereafter making it almost instantly obsolete of course.)

That case is as generic as they come - I've seen examples from all over the world on these forums so I guess that design was copy-pasted everywhere. The OP of this thread includes a couple 😀

They vary in quality too of course, the one below (mine) is well made, but I have another that's light weight and generally pretty awful.

My guess would be from 1998 or perhaps 1997. It does seem like an AT case that may have had an ATX variant as well.
Obviously you already had it in 1998 so it couldn't be of a later vintage.

EDIT: Could actually be a bit older, only now noticed the MHz LED display on the front which is usually something a few years older.

Thanks! But relative cases in archive Octec site is Baby-AT format, wherein my subject case is AT/ATX - first of all ATX with Baby-AT compartibility. And if you look closely, proportions of fronts is different. In particular, side portions of my case front wider then similar parts of D707B case from Octec site. In Russia, this cases better known as Denco.

I agree 😀, most likely this is a later iteration D707, similary to tower versions, converted to ATX in the same exterior. We will assume that it is a ATX D707. One detail: strange that a right of three (third) indicators originally was not used. LIght guide and LED holder in internal bracket is present, for the corresponding LED is absent only the hole in the chassis. I simply drilled the absent hole and put the LED into the bracket. How used all of three indicators - green for power, yellow for HDD and red for sleep mode.
