I'll probably skip this part on my card, hard to imagine why this was even a thing.. Were there any games that supported GameBlaster but not Adlib anyway?
Nice video as always 😀

According to Nerdly Pleasures there is one game: Airball.

Not quite retro, but since it came up already in another thread: My RasPi 4 review is here.
I don't try out any emulators in it (yet), but show how the thing looks, how to set it up (simple enough) and run some programs and a web benchmark, since the device postulates that it can now be used as a (dual screen) desktop computer. It seems really quite powerful, but my 6 year old iMac still blows it out of the water. 😀 Anyway a very nice device for small money, and probably one of the best retro emulation platforms out there with excellent support!
Nice review, look forward to seeing you do some crazy DIY retro things with it. Build a Munt-Pi maybe? 😀

Munt Pi would be interesting. Especially since I can compare with the real MT-32...
Also: Now with link! Stupid YouTube Studio app only copies the title, not the link...
root42: you was looking on the WiFi antenna the whole time 😀 And btw, you can find the same antenna on Zero W 😉
Socket 775 - ASRock 4CoreDual-VSTA, Pentium E6500K, 4GB RAM, Radeon 9800XT, ESS Solo-1, Win 98/XP
Socket A - Chaintech CT-7AIA, AMD Athlon XP 2400+, 1GB RAM, Radeon 9600XT, ESS ES1869F, Win 98
Oh, and another small correction, GPIO pins are compatible already from 1B+ model.
Can you test, how fast the DOSBox is running? Even on 3B+, it wasn't ideal, I'm really curious, how it will fare on 4B.
EDIT: Oh, look at that subscribers number 🤣

Ok, thanks. Yeah, I rather meant "mechanically incompatible". You can't plug a hat for Pi2 or higher on a 1. The composite jack will be in the way. And the hat might of course require pins that are not available...
I will put some emulators on the Pi, maybe even a RetroPie image. Let's see how far we can drive DOSBox. If it were multithreaded, it might help, but I figure multithreading only helps maybe with video and sound emulatio.
Subscribers: I took a screenshot of the number before that....

But I'm not talking about RPi 1B, but about 1B+, which change layout:

Retro Pie is unfortunately incompatible with 4B 🙁

How do you guys get data from / to your retro machines ?

Part 2 of my GRiD Case 1520 RTC battery replacement. I think it turned out pretty well. I try hard to keep my videos under 15 min but this one was over 18 min long. I could have probably shaved off another min but I think it would have lost too much. I have a few more videos planned on the 1520 and some upcoming 486 build and gaming videos too. Still going to stick to 2 videos a month, but thinking about releasing a bonus quick video when I can. Anyway just gotta stick to this. I'm really enjoying it so far. Thanks for reading/watching... subscribing? 😎

Taking a break from the GRiD 1520 portable, and sticking to my at least every other week schedule, I've finally started my 486 DX4-100 build series I've been super excited about. Cheers!

Nice video, looking forward to Pt. 2. Also a few comments: It's a SIMM. Also, I find videos in the 20-30min range are a lot more satisfying to watch, longer than 30 gets difficult to watch, shorter than 20 is a tad too short for me, you may want to combine two parts to one video maybe? Very good quality video, and absolutely fantastic quality AT case. I never had one such since I had my own 486DX33 in 1992, came with a fantastic high quality AT Full Tower with a door at the front, ever since then the only AT cases I ever used or came across are terrible cheap Chinese mid-towers 🙁
