I'll probably just get a 1600 or 2600 and call it a day. Already own an RX480 8GB.

Did exactly this..
Got the CPU for $130 which I think is as low as it will go during 3600 launch anyway. As for the motherboard, I expect B450 board prices to skyrocket as B550 is still a year off. I feel I've done a wise thing, made the move to Ryzen+ 6 core at $300 including 16GB DDR3200 RAM.

I broke down and purchased a Dell Venue 11 Pro Windows-8 tablet with keyboard.
It looks really nice but looks are deceiving.
I wanted to try a Windows tablet with keyboard to use instead of my iPad.
I purchased these before and sold them and now I remember why.
I have not used a modern MS-Windows computer in a while.
And now I remember why.
This thing was a pain to setup.
Configure tablet
Register tablet
Install programs
Install anti-virus program
Install web browsers
Copy over backup files and docs from my desktop PC.
And after all that it still does not work to well.
The whole MS-Windows tablet experience is a pain to use compared to my iPad.
Every tasks is very difficult to complete on the MS-Windows tablet compared to the iPad.
On the iPad every tasks is straight forward and easy to complete.
Now I remember why I sold all my modern MS-Windows laptops and desktops.
The Mac , MacBook , and iPad is just so much more advanced and well thought out.
Easy to use and setup is a breeze.
All the apps you need are included in the OS.
Even MS-Office is FREE on the Apple’s.
But you don’t need or want it once you learn to use Apple iWork suite do apps.
I only bought this Dell tablet because it was really inexpensive.
It has an Intel quad core i5 CPU and 8gb ram and 256gb SSD.
1080p touch screen display. And detachable keyboard.
The keyboard is nice for typing, good quality.
WiFi-AC, and nice back protective cover.
USB, SD card slot, Cellular card.
All for $83 on auction
But I would gladly pay $300 for an iPad over this.
The MS-Surface tablet would have been even worse.
I am not a fan of the kick-stand and cheap keyboard.

I really don't see any thing you don't have to do on a mac on that list except for the anti-virus which is only because so few macs are owned that its not a good target for viruses. Besides if you were running a modern Windows system you don't need to install a 3rd party virus program either.
This post seems designed to troll as its filled with a bunch of false statements, and its not the first time you've trolled with mac stuff.

Download and install updates
Install drivers
Download and install more updates
Scan for viruses
Create a restore point
Save backup image to USB drive
The entire process was very time consuming and took all day.
With the Mac or iPad it's easy and only takes about half and hour to get everything setup.
All your backups, files, photos and docs are on the iCloud.
Just login to your account and everything gets setup.
This entire MS-Windows experience is very difficult, clumsy, and awkward.
It like driving a Model-T compared to a Cadillac.
I don't mean to knock Microjunk but once you get use to the "Apple way" you never go back.
The Apple ecosystem is more advanced in it's ease of use, reliability, and integration.
Where Microjunk is like they just patched the whole thing together.

The amount of bullshit coming from you is just breathtaking. With the exception of installing updates (which is similar on every system/architecture) every point mentioned is optional and definitely not mandatory for a satisfying user experience. May I ask how old you are?

How weird is this ?
The wallpaper I put on my tablet just got uploaded an automatically put on my Desktop PC ?
Why would it do something like this ?
That's just weird. What if I want different wallpaper ?
My Desktop PC is not a DELL.

Windows 10 sets desktop by account. Use a different account or a local account instead. I think it's actually nice to have your setup follow you wherever you login.

Ugh !....What a pain. I finally have it working okay.
The networking was going haywire.
So I had to install all the latest driver updates from the DELL support website.
I runs good now. Idles at 0-3% CPU utilization and the network utilization is minimal.
It’s okay I guess. It’s just Awkward compared to the iPad.
I am not use to using a Desktop operating system on a small tablet.
My fingers are to BIG for this type of setup.
Infact, I think a stylus is an option for this tablet.
But Vogons website is tablet friendly.
Easy to navigate.
The cameras on this Dell Venue tablet are NOT very good compared to the iPad.
And the display is NOT apple retina quality.
For $83 i should not complain. This DELL table is loaded with just about every option.

Any of you Vogoneers recently upgraded or upgrading to Navi or one of them new shiny "SUPER" (lol) GTX cards?
Feel free to send your Polaris / Vega based card to me at a very sweet price. I'll thank you for it from the very bottom of my black heart!
Seriously though, cash waiting! 🤣

Oh, i'm in that boat too. I've already seen used prices drop $100 in the last week and I expect them to plummet once the fanboys get the 2080's. it's like $550 for one now, (ebay) and the price is only going down. my ati 480 will go out the the garage and I'll have a video card powerful enough for Cyberpunk 2077.
Seriously Bob, that RX480 is gonna be FAR happier in my PC playing Ori & The Blind Forest 2 than sitting in your dark, scary garage all on it's solitary lonesome...
