* Motherboard : abit a8n sli
* Processor type and speed: amd athlon 3800 dual core
* Amount and type of RAM: kingston 1gb
* Video board w/ RAM amount and type: nvidia 6600 gt
* Sound board: integrated audio chip
* Operating system: windows MCE
* Game name (and version, if applicable): tomb raider w/ glidos
* Description of problem: at random times, when i go to save a game, the game will freeze. it freezes just after the save seems to have taken place (just as the icons have all zoomed back into the center). it simply hangs there and i'm forced to close out glidos. whenever this happens, the savegame file that i had been using is cleared. in other words, the file still exists, but the file length is zero bytes.
* Reproducibility of problem (always, only once, always but only on a specific level, etc.): completely at random as far as i can tell. it's happened on level 1 and 2 a couple of times, and once on level 3. it probably would happen more but i've just about given up playing this game because of having to start over so often.
* Sound mode used: VDMS using defaults
* Video mode (Software, OpenGL, Direct3D, or Glide, and resolution): glidos default, running at my monitor's default resolution (1280x768)
* Version of emulator (for VDMSound, probably 2.0.4 or 2.1.0; for DOSBox, 0.58+): VDMS 2.1.0. Glidos: 1.28 and 1.32 (i tried using both versions and they both exhibit this behavior, but 1.32 definitely crashes a higher percentage of the time).
P.S. I've already tried doing the recommended fixes found on the advanced tomb raider install page (at tombraiderchronicles.com) such as turning off my second cdrom drive. but nothing's helped so far.
