Take care of it, it's worth a lot of money.

I don't have the original CDs but I have got all systems running in Windows ME and Windows XP. What drivers do you need?

Is this too much voodoo?

thanks for the links, now i know what zips to look for

this board is supposed to be one of the best pentium4 boards?
mine has missing northbridge fan and the legs on the firefire chip had green corrosion so i cleaned it up with vinegar and some isoprophil alcohol.
board works perfectly tho. I can't say anything bad about it because i paid 12 bucks for it with a pentium4 3.2ghz included.

when i saw it i wanted it right away, so different compared to other brands, god i miss Abit.

ABIT IC7, ASUS P4C800 and DFI LANPARTY PRO 875B are considered to be the best overclocking boards (300+ mhz FSB) on Socket 478 platform.

I don't have the driver CD anymore (not that I know of, anyway) but I used to own an IC7-G and have the drivers archived on my NAS. Probably downloads vs. the CD, dated 2007. Looks like Win9x to Vista based on a quick 'ls' of the directories. I've got audio, chipset, LAN, and Intel and SI SATA drivers.

sorry guys forgot about this topic

so the link that was posted here is a no go because the files i belive where from an era way before the ftp was cloned.
with the help of wayback i was able to look at the motherboard site from 2009 or 2008 and with that i was able to get correct ftp link and filenames to download the drivers

even tho i wish i had the CD iso, just to take a look at it , kind of retro feeling i guess

from what i understand overclock was made with an specific 2.4gz version of the cpu, in the pentium4 era, is that right?

There were some nice Northwood and Prescott 2.8-3.0 Ghz CPUs which could go up to 3.7-4.0 Ghz on air cooling. Sometimes even more.

I had a 2.0 that I overclocked for a while. I was working at a computer store at the time, so I kept checking inbound CPUs until I found one with the stepping that was confirmed as a Northwood that overclocks well. I think I had it running stable at 2.8 or something like that. I did all the things you're supposed to do to ensure a good overclock... watercooled it, properly lapped the copper heatsink, replaced all the LEDs in my drives and front panel with blue ones so the green and amber light wouldn't interfere with the higher FSB frequency, added CCL lighting to prevent the electrons from having to find their way in the dark, and took a jigsaw to my case so I could install an acrylic window that would let all the pesky photons out that might collide with the electrons. Pretty sure that last thing gave me another 200MHz.

A buddy of mine with far more devotion bought a Northwood 1.6, IIRC, and had it cranked to 3.0 with the aid of a Peltier cooler. He left work an AMD fan, skeptical, with new motherboard and CPU boxes tucked under one arm (just to prove his point, of course), and came back the next day preaching the Pentium 4 gospel.

Made a copy of my CD, version 1.21M.

FYI - The same CD is used for all IC7 variants - IC7, IC7-G and IC7-Max3, so this ISO image applies to all

I've also updated the link in my original post to point to

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vWj7S1CBW7X7 … iew?usp=sharing

and have put it in the vogonsdrivers thread here, so hopefully should end up in there too.

Just want to add that when it comes to latest drivers the ABIT IC7-MAX3 is identical to the ABIT IC7-G, they are available on my website (https://soggi.org/motherboards/abit/IC7-G.htm) including latest abit EQ v1.2.3.1w - except for the Silicon Image SiI3114 driver (for now).

The latest BIOS version 18 dated 2004/11/01 is available at https://soggi.org/motherboards/abit.htm.

kind regards
soggi
