I have a Diamond DTV-1100 ISA Card, which I think is a daughtercard for another Diamond Video Card, but I am not sure which card its compatibile with....would anyone happen to know?

Looking around online, I have seen mentions that its a daugthercard for Diamond Stealth64 2001 Series, but those appear to be PCI cards....so not sure...

Thanks....

I guess any card that has a "LPB connector" first card I found was the Diamond Stealth64 2001 as well, also Stealth 3D 2000... maybe there were others.

I keep seeing PCI versions of those cards versions, but no ISA...

THere is the Speedstar Pro ISA Card....appears to have a connector on it.....

The DTV-1100 can probably be used with any card that has a LPB connector. PCI or not doesn't matter, as the DTV-1100 only seems to use ISA for getting power anyway.

This card came out in 1995 same as the Diamond Stealth 64 Video 2001. At the time it made sense to make it an ISA card since most computer had more ISA than PCI slots.

The LPB Connector seems to include the "feature connector" of older cards but adds another 8 pins to the interface. So I guess it's a sort of upgrade which is backwards compatible.

it also makes a lot of sense so you can keep the PCI slots free for cards that actually can make use of the bandwidth.

Thanks for the information.....I didnt realize it was compatible with the PCI Stealth 64 Video 2001. I may search for that card to do a setup...

Do you happen to know if the DTV-1100 is compatible with DIamond Stealth Pro ISA Card?

I think it is too old. No LPB Connector.
