Info about ASUS (?) ISA-486SV2B motherboard

This motherboard is inbound and I'm looking for any information about it. It seemed like a safe bet because I just assumed it would be by ASUS (due to the name) and it ticks many boxes. Namely SIS 85C407 / 85C461 chipset, 2 x VLB, removable battery, ZIF, etc... but now I'm wondering.

It's got "ISA-486SV2B Rev. 6.2" printed on the PCB. The only half decent picture I could find on the net is this one:

Apart from that this thing seems to be a phantom. Except for some old eBay listings and two or three entries on japanese websites (which seem to be as clueless as me) Google turns up nothing. I bought it in Germany.

Does anyone know if this is indeed by ASUS and where I can find any documentation? Help would be much appreciated.

@dexvx got this same Asus board back in 2017, but don't think he had much luck with a manual either

Thanks! But I really think the "-B" is key here... the SV2 and the SV2B do seem to be two different animals, not just revisions:

The -B has a coin cell, 4 x 72 pin SIMM and there are many other differences visible on the PCB...

Maybe the Jumper settings match to some extent. And they seem to be (at least partly) documented on both boards. Will post a hi-res picture of the -B once it arrives.

I also wrote to ASUS tech support. Maybe they are able to dig something up. Not that optimistic, though. 😀

Good luck getting anything out of Asus tech support - I've always found them particularly unhelpful for these types of request in the past. 😢

Also, am beginning to wonder if this board might be an OEM version (B for bulk?) given the lack of info on it - a browse on archive.org shows virtually no mention of it on any of the limited saved Asus links from the mid 90s, except these from their Newsgroup Archives

You were absolutely right. They replied with a one-liner. (Computer says "no".) I asked if they can at least confirm that it is one of theirs. Have not heard back yet.

Jumpered for the DX/2 66 shown and working. Quite nice condition. The BIOS has a "mouse support" option. But even if that means potential PS/2 mouse support it doesn't seem like it can be converted easily. At least not with my soldering iron from around 1880 or something. 😉
