A little assistance would be great

I have a problem with getting IPXNET working and i've read all the older threads on the forum without finding the answer i was looking for.

In one thread a guy says IPXNET doesnt work and then someone tells him to look at the Z: and then he found it.

This doensnt apply to me, theres no IPXNET on the Z: drive and if i type IPXNET it just says illegal command.

In Another thread a guy has a similar problem but claims he can't find IPX settings in dosbox.conf in the end however he finds it and it seems his problem is over.

However i did go into the doxbox.conf and edit IPX=true
Afterwards just to make absolutely sure (after testing many times) i used -writeconf dosbox.conf
This didnt help the problem either.
I figured perhaps my version of Dosbox i incorrect so i downloaded the newest one but this didnt help either.

Im running a 3GHZ with 1gig of ram and win2k
The only thing that COULD be the problem as i see it is that the computer is admin locked but i can get normal dosbox games working just fine.
TCP/IP is of course installed in the computer and i can get on the internet just fine.
I even got CIVII working over TCP/IP in win2k

Does anyone have a clue what im doing wrong?

[ipx]
# ipx -- Enable ipx over UDP/IP emulation.

Duh i realized my mistake.
I put dosbox on a network drive - i relocated it to my harddisk and now it works
*slaps self*
Sometimes i wonder why they keep me in tech support 😁
