Can anyonne help a dim wit...to get any dos game to work
my set up is a iMac G5
I downloaded dosboxer
and dosbox
and a few games....
can anyone tell me how to get games to be seen on doxboxer so i can start then and play from there or i am missin the point somewhere.
I really dont know anything about anything..any kind person...tell me how in simple terms what i need and how to start runing a dos game in a mac....or send a email...thanks for any help..

you need to read the darn docs from dosbox v0.63 and read the dosbox guides forum

Looks like Dosboxer only handles the configuration side of things. You still need to do the commands to load the game up, but you can put them in the autoexec section of Dosboxer instead of typing them in Dosbox.

These commands should work for most games (obviously change paths and names to suit!)

mount c /dosgames (make your dosgames folder drive C)
c: (switch to drive C)
cd gamefolder (go into folder with the actual game files)

(and then to configure or play the game...)
setup/install (install game or configure game settings)
game (run game - you're looking for a .exe, .com, or .bat file)

PS: There's a manual for dosboxer on the download site, if you're having trouble with other aspects of it.
