METHOD 1
On my retro machine, in *pure* DOS mode, with my 128GB SanDisk 128GB connected, I invoke diskpart, enable large drive support by Y, create a new Primary DOS partition, exit.
Back in Win98SE, see the drive icon (D:\), right click, and FORMAT, but it formats only up to 32GB
METHOD 2
On my Win7 card reader, use DISKPART to CLEAN the drive, then use Win7 Disk-management to format in exFAT or NTFC (temporary measure), and finally use guiformat.exe
http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm
to format the entire drive in FAT32 (128GB).
When I connect it my Win98SE retro machine, it does not even see it!
What gives!?
