hey guys i'm really sorry to ask this question, but i've been through all the faqs etc. and can't find any help..

i'm playing krondor and it runs awesome, but I want to make the window bigger.

every time i press alt+enter, the screen goes blank and says it's out of scan range, change pc settings..

so my question to you is - how do i get the game running full screen?

I also saw some tip that said "set scaler ="

I fiddled around with that in the dosbox thing and the command seem to work, but nothing happened to my window..

please help me i feel so dumb: 😦

Open up dosbox.conf in notepad or whatever, and try these things in order:
1. Try changing the graphics output mode (output=)
Ones to try are overlay, opengl, ddraw, and maybe direct3d
2. Set fullfixed=true
3. Set fullresolution=<resolution> (eg. fullresolution=640x480, 800x600, 1024x768...)

sorry though can you be a lil more specfic? I have a reasonable knowledge of computers and old school stuff (as evidenced by me playing krondor), but could u be a lil more explicit? I'm afraid i'm lost with those directions..

i was able to open the conf, but didn't really understand what to do next..

sorry once again for being a disgrace.. 😵

There should be a load of comments at the top prefixed with #, then a bunch of lines, including:
fullfixed=<something>
fullresolution=<something>
output=<something>

Just change the <something> as per my previous post, save the file, and load up dosbox again to see if that fixed the problem. If not, try different settings.

eg. in mine I've got:

fullfixed=false
fullresolution=1024x768
output=surface
