I'm guessing it powered an industrial ISA backplane -- especially due to the short power switch cable. You can certainly still use it if it is functional. You can add some of your own cables that you need (molex, floppy) by soldering directly to the board, or making an in-line breakout cable.
Well, it powers on, so I asumme it works. I also noticed short power switch cable when I held it in my hands. Thanks for the tip.
Bought this AT Power supply yesterday for 5 EUR. When I looked at it more closely, I realised that it only has connections for the motherboard. No molex or floppy connections. What kind of power supply is this and what computers (motherboards) it is ment for? Is it possible to use it in an "regular" computer?
Assuming it's in good shape, using a donor set of cables from a dead PSU and a multimeter and soldering iron, you could map out the outputs and make a breakout cable. To be really slick you'd have to find out if someone like Mouser electronics has the other end connector for that big proprietary connector and use it to break out the molex, floppy and AT connections.
Made a lowball offer for a VIA Epia 800 (the original Epia with SB Pro compatible sound) which was accepted by the seller. Looking forward to seeing how this thing compares to AMD K6-2+/III+ In terms of performance and flexibility for old games.
Have been in a busy frenzy @ the last couple of weeks, managed to rescue and buy a mixed "assortment" of hardware.
"Donated" (one can say that a couple of cups of Glenrothes where involved) by a friend, a cool keyboard from Cherry, and true cherry on top is it has a AT/XT selector 😎 . It had a ruff time, and was horribly dirty.
The switch's are "hybrid" rubber dome, but they to feel nice I think. Still dirty, but way better.....
After a full disassembly and thorough cleaning, keycap by keycap it turn out a nice keyboard to have.
Also found 2 bundles of assorted hardware on local used sale sites, and some goodies where barley visible.
First bundle (20€):
Jumped to this lot mainly because I had the need for that 8bit OTIVGA. The AGP card was a nice surprise, as it is an FX5900XT.
The second lot has a tad more expensive (50€), but the AWE32 alone would justify :

Good grief man. That so reminds me of a Coco 3 cleanup job I did awhile back. I am curious where that keyboard was found/stored? I found that Coco 3 in a dirty, humid Florida garage at a yard sale and it had been sitting there for almost 30 years. After the cleanup, fired right up and worked flawlessly.
