I've downloaded the latest version of DosBox - 0.65, but now with
output=ddraw or output=opengl in fullscreen mode I don't have a good smooth picture like in 0.63 version:(

You may have forgot to configure core and cycles as well.

0.65 no longer uses hardware scaling when normal2x is selected. You have to use windowresolution or fullresolution to get hardware scaling (and scaler=none)...

This was a pretty poor change. I don't want to try OpenGL again though since I got a hardware reset last time I tried. So much for free triple buffering... 😐

Yes, you are right...
Actually, this last changes creates some new bugs
one of them in Pinball Fantasies...

That's a real shame though. It was so... smooth

It's obviously too late now but something like normal2xh (h for hardware) would have been a good idea.

You can specifiy 640x400 then then 320x200 will be doubled and filtered, but then what about when you want to run a 640x480 game?

I added hardware2x and 3x in my builds 😀
But I've noticed something yesterday...windowresolution will keep the aspect ratio, so if you specify 640x480 - a 320x200 game will run at 640x400 not 480. This does make windowresolution behave somewhat like normal2x before 😁
