Dosbox 0.65 and d-fend

I just installed new dosbox 0.65 and noticed that the d-fend (0.62) is no longer working very well with it. Although I can start the games normally with d-fend, none of the settings i've put in d-fend configurations works. So basically I just get the default settings of dosbox. I searched from forums about this topic and found that these two programs are actually compatable but there is need to do some new settings to d-fend. Could somebody clarify this a bit ?

The latest D-fend should still work just fine. Just make sure you point it to the new location of dosbox in the configure default options dialogue.

Also in the dynamic options you might want to add in some of the new options dosbox 0.65 has, like the 'original' resolution instead of default. Theres a few scalers you need to add in there as well.

Everything else you need to use can be added via the 'custom config' section of each game's profile.
